Duisdale House Hotel is a four star contemporary yet opulent boutique hotel comprising 18 bedrooms and is set in 35 acres of garden/woodlands. It faces Easterly in direction giving full opportunity for appreciating the morning sunrise across the sea and mountains of mainland Scotland. The hebridean hotel was built in 1865 as a private house and is situated in the Southern Peninsula, Sleat, on the Isle of Skye, commonly known as the Garden of Skye.

The hotel is close to the main ferry link between Skye and mainland Scotland, Armadale – Mallaig, and also in easy reach of the Skye Bridge. The hotel is run by the owners of the nearby Toravaig House Hotel which is also a small, award winning boutique hotel, under three miles away. Duisdale House Hotel together with Toravaig has renowned award winning kitchens which deliver excellent cuisine, using the freshest of produce from Skye and throughout Scotland. Duisdale House Hotel has a fine dining restaurant and a Chartroom which can cater for lighter meals throughout the day and evening also serving innovative local dishes.

The accommodation has been totally and completely renovated since the purchase of the hotel in 2007 and sits well inside the four star bracket and in many ways was a new style of hotel for Skye combining the traditional retained characteristics with a contemporary and opulent slant resulting in a warm and inviting environment. The fantastic management team at Duisdale House Hotel have often been recognised and rewarded for their genuine Highland hospitality and attention to detail in dealing with guests, contributing to the high level of repeat guests which the hotel enjoys.

Daily sailing is available to all guests at Duisdale House Hotel from April to September on the luxury yacht Solus na Mara which is skippered by Ken, sailing daily around Skye from Armadale to Rhum, Eigg, Loch Nevis or whichever route makes for the best sail of the day.

Beautiful paths have been created in the grounds, allowing for an easy walking, taking in the fresh Highland air. Across the road there is a  short shore walk and maybe if you are lucky enough, a glimpse of an otter may be enjoyed.

There are also five hotel moorings available by the shore for visiting yachts, and the hotel also has dedicated showering facilities for yachtsmen.
